US uses banned weapon ..but was Tony Blair told?
US troops are secretly using outlawed napalm gas to wipe out remaining insurgents in and around Fallujah.
News that President George W. Bush has sanctioned the use of napalm, a deadly cocktail of polystyrene and jet fuel banned by the United Nations in 1980, will stun governments around the world.
And last night Tony Blair was dragged into the row as furious Labour MPs demanded he face the Commons over it. Reports claim that innocent civilians have died in napalm attacks, which turn victims into human fireballs as the gel bonds flames to flesh.

“After destroying the Strogg’s collective brain and leader — the Makron — the Strogg have quickly regrouped under...
My GMail cooky expired, so I ended up on the password page, and what did I see? A GMail 2004 recap:
2004 was quite a year for us! Here’s a quick recap:
April 1st: Gmail launches. Some thought it was a joke, but we were serious about our gig of free space. (The real April Fool’s jokers wanted to give people the moon.)
July 10th: Users can import contacts. Suddenly, keeping in touch with faraway friends becomes a lot easier.
October 9th: We finally add ‘Save Drafts.’ No one is more excited than we are about never again having to answer “Why don’t you have a way...

The BBC is reporting that there has been a 50% increase in the number of viruses released in 2004; as many as 100,000 viruses were seen ‘in the wild’, many of them doing serious damage to their targets. Bot-nets, computers infected with remote control software featured largely in 2004; equally prominent was the use of viruses and these bot-nets for cyber-crime and sending spam.
2004 also saw the release of the first proper virus for mobile phones. For PC’s, in first place on the top ten viruses of 2004 was the Netsky worm variant, Netsky-P. The worm exploited a vulnerability in...
