GMail Drive 1.04 – part two

Well I tested it, and it’s great! I extracted the files to a folder on my hard drive, ran the setup… and BANG two seconds later a new hard drive! When you dubble click it you get a nice popup screen asking for your username and password, you login (takes about a second) and you have a GB of new free space! But… as we all know: uploading is slow I forgot that for a moment and started to upload a 6MB file, it took me at least 3min, but hey, we can live with that. You can also make folders, to keep everything organised. I’dd also suggest not to use this when you use pop...

Spooks – Mixed up with reality

What i emailed the BBC: Hi I watched the final episode of spooks today. I was really not impressed with the series on a whole. I can see that alot of research and work has been put into it, to make sure that a lot of the information was correct, especially on middle-eastern based issues, but unfortunately you seemed to have got one thing wrong. This is no joke, life is not a joke, things like this do actually happen, and they don’t belong in a T.V drama whilst they are really occuring in the world. For some reason I just don’t comprehend why you feel that you can make a program based...

GMail Drive 1.04

I found this mazing program today: GMail Drive, it adds your gmail space as a new hardrive in ‘My Computer’ !!! Here’s what they say: GMail Drive is a Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual filesystem around your Google GMail account, allowing you to use GMail as a storage medium. GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google GMail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your GMail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create...

Gamespy It’s that time of year again when we need to choose the top games of the year. We’ve already made most of our decisions, but our awards aren’t complete without the gamers of the world having their say. Now is your chance to be heard and vote for the game that you think is most deserving. Last year, some great games got the nod from fans. In 2001, there were even some surprises! So your voice DOES make a difference! We will alert developers and publishers about the winners in these categories after our overall winners are announced on Dec. 22! Some notes: Your votes...

Here I am!

Heh, thx for the great intro Usayd I would like to add a few things to what Usayd said earlier about MSN Spaces. As a starter, the correct link is spaces.msn.com . There is a feature Usayd didn’t speak of (which I think is the coolest) and that is that it works together with msn messenger 7 (which you can find here). What I mean with that? Well check out these screenshots I made: In this one you can see an orange star in front of the contact when he/she has updated his/her blog, in this case ‘ikke (@gmail)’: When you look at that persons contactcard… you get to see...

Yahoo! Update

Just yesterday i posted an article about MSN’s new services, and I mentioned Yahoo!’s increase a few months ago to 100MB email storage. Well I just logged into my mailbox on Yahoo! and realised that they’ve taken the quick decision of upgrading their service to 250MB, which is the same as Hotmails new service. I must admit I was quite surprised. I thought i’d just do a quick review of the most popular mail services currently availiable: Hotmail – 250MB – 10MB attachments Yahoo! – 250MB – 10MB attachments Gmail – 1GB – 20MB attachments* gmail...

Network partners

Usayd Networks has been slowly progressing to upgrade its websites and services. Currently Usayd Networks has only been run by the Usayd Corporation, but i’d like to introduce a new affiliate who will be helping with the Usayd Network News; Tibault (DarthTibault). Tibault is a major star wars fan, and he works on both Windows and Linux, specialising in tweaks and add ons for instant messaging software and internet based applications. “I spend all my time on the computer…” And yes – that does make him a geek Look forward to hearing from him soon…

MSN upgrades

Microsoft have been struggling (at least MSN has) over the last few months to keep up with its competetors. Their rivals have been offering much higher services, and finally msn have started to fight back. Its latest releases includes Hotmails upgrade from 2MB to 250MB, this is a massive difference, but is it big enough? At such a late stage it seems that many users have switched to other services such as Yahoo! who upgraded their service to 100MB at least 4 months ago, and Gmail, although not officially released, this is definately one of the fastest and largest mail services availiable this present...
