Skype releases new beta with cool new features

SlashDot reports:

Skype quietly released a new 1.2 beta featuring SkypeIn (in US, UK, France, China & Hong Kong), central voicemail (for those not using the free 3rd party SAM or Pamela),
and finally centralised contact list. SkypeIn is the opposite of the
company’s SkypeOut, allowing you now to receive normal telephone calls
through Skype.

All I can say is: Yippeee!!, They finally added the only cool features it was missing :p

    cool we gotta try it out sometime, bad thing is that you have to pay for the Voicemail, it gets really annoying when you have to start paying :P

    I did, it’s WAAAAY too expensive: 1 year skype-in is €30.00,- (includes voicemail) and voicemail alone is €15.00,- for just a year!!!!
