PS3 vs Xbox 360

My Review:

What can I say? They will be a good/ish specification at this time of course!! The problem is when they are actually released!! They’ll totally loose their great speed and graphics by the end of 2005/beginning of 2006! I mean by then 3.2ghz will not exactly be great, and already 512MB Ram is sucky. What i’ve always said about consoles: They are just non-upgradeable pc’s for people who can’t afford to maintain a high specification of pc! Sorry but thats prettey much fact. I already have all of the things on the specifications of both of the consoles on my PC and I have done for like 2 years! A 20GB Harddrive is actually prettey pathetic, must say i’m dissapointed.

Design - Personally I think they both look okay. Nothing special about them, wow they’re both silver (thats so 2 years ago!). They probably look better then the original versions, but of course that is the idea! I’m not totally critical of consoles, and I do like to play on them but you have to be critical of both if you want to get a good opinion overall.

   I think the Xbox360 looks way better qua design… have you seen the controller of the ps3!!! yuck picture

   Nah alot of ppl have sed the other way round!
   Must admit tho, that controller doesn’t exactly look very attractive!
   O well I probably wouldn’t get either anyway!

   …i think u need to stop comparing consoles to cpu’s, because of course theirs going to be no compitition, consoles are really great for people who dont have a lot of time and money(the money part is questionable). So basically its for people who have lives, a 20 GB harddrive and 512MB of RAM in a CONSOLE; is groundbreaking Mr. ComputerNerd only two systems can boast it huh? So if your going to wright a review on two diffrent consoles….. talk about them and dont compair computers with ‘em. Even the old NES system was crap compaired to the computers of its day.

   The reason I compare a console to a computer is simple - they use very similar hardware and they are constructed in maybe a similar fashion (xbox’s more then ps2’s). You say consoles are for people who have a life. I’d say the oposite - you often find people who spend alot of time gaming on a console are also prettey dense. You can do a hell of a lot more on a pc then on a console and its going to stay that way.

   The main reason I compared PC’s with consoles, however, is because when I am asked why I don’t really play on consoles I say I play on the pc! That generates a bit of an argument and therefore I am in favor of PC’s as gaming platforms over consoles - that is just opinion based obviously there are arguments for and against.

   Wow…this is outdated.

   Just to update, this is the actual PS3 controller, the other was a prototype.

   All I know is I’m getting one (PS3, that is).

   Yeah, the PS3 should beat the XBOX360 seeing as it is like a whole year newer and in terms of technology that means a lot!
