MSN Application Monitor

By Usayd

I was really hyped up when I started using Xfire - an IM Client which shows your buddies when your playing and what your playing. It has been developed to do much more then that, but I always wondered if that would ever be possible with MSN Messenger. Well now it is, with MSN Application Monitor - a 3rd Party software which allows you to have your personalised message determined by running software.

You can get this from Mess.be, and it has been compiled as a very simple application consisting of only a .exe and an XML file. Its really easy to understand and there has been a pre-programmed interface which is really cool.

For that this app gets a great 85%!

Er… I thought it had to be than…
To prove my point: you built in this neat little plugin called ‘dictionary’ : here’s what I found:

Then (what you used) : at that time
Than (what I would use) : 1. Used after a comparative adjective or adverb to introduce the second element or clause of an unequal comparison: She is a better athlete than I.
    2. Used to introduce the second element after certain words indicating difference: He draws quite differently than she does.”

You see, I learn English at school to you know, and I hate being told that I’m wrong.
