FireFox 1.06

By Usayd

Yep I read somewhere that there was going to be a quick release of an update to FireFox straight after 1.05 and they were right.

Firefox 1.0.6 is a stability update. We recommend that users upgrade to this latest version.

Here’s what’s new in Firefox 1.0.6:

  • Restore API compatibility for extensions and web applications that did not work in Firefox 1.0.5.

Heh, didn’t even notice it was 1.0.6 already: I yesterday got back from my holiday and saw your post about 1.0.5, so I downloaded it. Today I saw this post, and when I went to download FF I noticed that I already had the newest version  lol

 I was on spreadfirefox.com because it had been hacked into so I was checking it out and I saw some guy’s comment on a blog saying that they’d release a new version very soon, so I was checking regularly.
