Microsoft joins the VoIP battle

Well this hardley comes as a surprise after Google Talk joined in the competition against Skype, MS hardley wanted to loose out on this expanding market.  Microsoft is preparing to enable computer users to make a normal phone call from their PC. The computer giant has increased its presence in the fast-growing internet phone sector by purchasing leading player Teleo for an undisclosed sum. Microsoft and rivals AOL, Google and Yahoo all currently allow phone calls between computers, but not yet to a domestic or mobile handset. Securing WiFi on distance

Well you may have read my recent post on Cutting the cords (recommended read), well to add to the topic I read today about adding to the security to WiFi. This seems like a very efficient way too! Precision location technology is one of several key ideas for the next few years that Justin Rattner, Intel senior fellow...

Bush, who is now in the fifth year of his presidency, has served 1727 days in office. With the death toll in Iraq currently at 1873 servicemen, Bush can now boast that at least one American has died for every day he’s been in office; a sobering tribute to a man who wants to be remembered "a war president". Article It’s amazing that it takes such a bold...

Also, though most core functionality is editable as...
