FireFox 1.5 beta released!

By DarthTibault

I have no idea how long it’s already been up there, but today when I wanted to download an English copy of FireFox (I really hate the Dutch version) I noticed an interesting link beneath th "Download now button": "Try Firefox 1.5 Beta 1: Download Here". Apparently the first bèta of FF1.5 has gone public!

Here’s what’s new:

  • Automated update to streamline product upgrades.
  • Faster browser navigation.
  • Drag and drop for browser tabs.
  • Improvements to popup blocking.
  • Clear Private Data feature.
  • Answers.com added to search engine list.
  • Descriptive error pages, redesigned options menu, and RSS discovery.
  • Better accessibility support.
  • Report a broken Web site wizard.
  • Better support for Mac OS X.

Let’s start the bèta-testing!
