Rome bans goldfish bowls

ROME (Reuters) - The city of Rome has banned goldfish bowls, which animal rights activists say are cruel, and has made regular dog-walks mandatory in the Italian capital, the town’s council said Tuesday.

    I was about to say LOL, but the activists are right.

    It’s good to do whatever we can for our animals who in exchange for a little love fill our existence with their attention

    That’s very, very true; a lot of people don’t treat their animals decently. This new law in Rome is a big step forward, and I hope animal rights activists will be able to achieve things like this in more countries.
