There is technology that may be applied for support of discourse. Like as abstraction after the pen, the page, and the means of publication, the technology may be new, may be very efficient in operation, and may the substance of the work remain as the foremost point of consideration.
In numerous places, technology is applied for discourse about Islam.
The following are a few resources that I have noticed. Inshaa Allah , may they be of benefit to the visitor and the reader.
Jamiatul Ulama (KwaZulu-Natal) – Council of Muslim Theoligians, their name telling much of their established presence,...
I’m sure you will have heared about the huge earthquake that hit Pakistan on Saturday. For those of you who are unclear, Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir, was the epicentre of the quake which killed at least 20,000 people (though this figure is expected to rise).
My children have survived the quake but it looks like they are going to die of cold now .
The disaster wiped out a generation of young people in the areas worst hit, a military official has said. The earthquake, which hit at 0350GMT on Saturday, is thought to have been the strongest the region has seen in a century....
Asalamualikum! (Peace be with you!)
I can’t believe a whole year has passed, but it has and it’s here again! Ramadan, the blessed month of the year in the Islamic calendar started on 4th October 2005 As usual there is some debate in the Muslim community about the starting of Ramadan and the day of Eid, it basically works by the sighting of the new moon. at Maghrib The fourth prayer in the day at sunset time. To elaborate – at sunset on Tuesday the day of Ramadan started. Today (Wednesday 5th) was my first day of fasting and so far it’s been fine. I don’t make any changes...

Today Google and Sun are having a press conference in which they are rumoured to announce an Office Suite based on StarOffice/OpenOffice, and accessible via a web browser. If you don’t know what that would look like, you should have a look at Writley, a web based word processor.
I believe this to be a really interesting step. Imagine being able to write things with the same word processor at home, at a friend’s place, at some internet cafe,… no more messing with an other version/software then the one you’re used too.
Google could also give you free space like Gmail’s...
Yeah we’ve all been busy, and I have still managed to put together some more improvements to the site. Yeah I said I would make a new theme and I still intend to, but one improvement is the new Gallery which I installed yesterday. Yep its nice, attractive and very easy to use. The best thing is you log into Usayd Networks and you’re instantly logged into the gallery. Finally an incentive for being a UNN reporter!
Other changes – Images as titles, I was getting boerd of all the text so livened it up a little. Also any link you visit that was at yse-uk.com/wordpress will automatically...

Okay i’m in detention (you can guess which kind of detention) so I thought I might aswell write why the server transfer.
I hate my old webhost, they have the worst customer support and they have extremely few features. Well okay they are maybe for the more amateur user. I wanted a few main things, and one of these was mod_rewrite. I have had wordpress for a while and it did my head in so much because I couldn’t use nice permalinks! I contacted Netfirms repetedly and they refused to enable it. Other features that I hated was the fact that they had some crappy panel that they made themselves....

I’m Iraqi, I’ve been to Iraq and believe me I know that the situation in Iraq at the current moment is definitely not better then it was before the war. Why, well think about it. You attacked a country and killed over 150,000 Innocent Civilians. Yeah that might look like ‘just a figure’ to you, but lets face it – we seem to care so much about every British/American soldier that dies (which is fine) but when do we think about the innocent Iraqi’s who were killed by our soldiers our countries and our politics. This isn’t just the situations caused by the...

Back from the camp everyone Course I had some 30 emails to get through and there are a few about that President of the USA, what do they call him again? George Bush…the texan bafoon or something. Anyway quite a funny video, have a laff at him here.
You probably all saw the note he wrote in the UN summit.
And if you missed Tibault’s post about Michael Moore’s letter to people voting for him, its definately worth the read.
