Limbo
Like a place between places
Going somewhere but stuck at an oasis
Stopped to rest and replenish myself
Finding it impossible to regain my health.
Waiting…unsure of what is to come
Hopes for the best prepare to be undone
Plan for worst is the way they say,
Glance at the clock. Will I plan for today?
Mirage
A term well used to describe
The disappointment faced and felt inside.
Water doesn’t exist at the place first sighted
Nowhere to be seen as the fires ignited.
The truth is – there is no end,
Looking for reason to make amend
Then will be seen as the end of time arrives,
The contradiction of a mirage is like the broken sky.
finally
lol i wrote one called limbo last night/this morning as well..
lets have a read?
lol- i thought it was two poems- what an idiot am i! lol
i do like the mirage section better than the limbo section.
i like the line “water doesn’t exist at the place first sighted”- tells me that u have to wok hard sometimes to get to the water but its worth it in the end- so thats a good little moral there.
but i think its a little contradictory how u say “there is no end”- but then u say “as the end of time arrives”.
and the line “plan for worst is the way they say”- i’m not too keen on- because it generates a rather negative outlook to life.
and i don’t know what u man by the last night-”like the broken sky” – so it would be nice if u explained although i know u don’t like to do that.
there i hope this brief analysis is good enough for u.
thanks for the feedback.
