I was born in a computer box, with all but a fan keeping me warm…
Well, not really, but close: I was born on November 15th and got in contact with computers the very
second I got home.
After a few years my dad got sick of me using his pc all of the time, and bought me my first computer (I was 6). From then on I got to do everything with my pc I wanted, because it was mine (duh), so I quickly found out how everything worked.
By the time Windows98 was released I was more busy tweaking the register settings and adding visual enhancements than I was playing games…
When I bought Windows XP I was stunned: it was the best looking, fastest booting OS I had ever had. Immediately I started looking for ways to add new visual styles, change the boot screen and change the Logon screen (LogonUI). I ended up making a few of my own too: you can still find a few of them here on Belchfire (6 Star Wars themed boot screens, and 1 LogonUI)
I am now a devoted Linux user and spend my days reading computer and technology news on the internet, posting stuff on Usayd Network News, maintaining a blog, making stupid videos, building web sites, … and of course spending some time to Star Wars, which is practically my religion ![]()
Tibault was promoted to the Usayd Networks Vice Director after achieving 80 articles and contributing hugely to the Network
