Finally after much specalation the SWAT4 SP demo is out, and to me, much earlier then expected!
I’m currently testing the game and will report back as soon as I have some results, hopefully posotive ones too!!
I’m prettey excitied about this, and I may put the demo up on the server for download if neccesary.
There seem to be some prettey packed download servers for the game at the moment, which is definately a good sign!
“Serve and protect as a swat team member in this demo that puts you in the middle of a barricaded suspect situation, as a vehicle heist turns ugly.”

Over the last few weeks we have seen some significant improvements in the SWAT 4 infrastructure which is leading to the release of the game hopefully by April 2005. Over the last few days there have been some new releases such as the SWAT 4 Fansite kit, which we have obtained in order to start on the Usayd SWAT 4 Fansite.
Another recent release was the SWAT4 coop video which has exposed more of the now quite hyped up game.
There has also been rumor of a SWAT 4 single player demo which is hopefully coming out sometime soon!
Thats all for our SWAT 4 updates, we are also working on a new Usayd Fansite...
Long-in-development MMORPG gets a new launch date, two months after its previous one.

Developed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s now-in-house studio, Monolith Productions, the Matrix Online is set in the titular artificial reality of The Matrix films. Players will create a character...
SWAT 4 has reawakened something in us. Something we’ve missed since the days when we’d pile eight guys into a Rogue Spear map and play co-op all night. The return of the SWAT series, this time in the hands of Irrational Games (Freedom Force, Tribes Vengeance), looks to be shaping up quite nicely, as evidenced by the meaty beta preview we’ve had a hard time putting down this week…
At the start of each mission, you’ll get a short audio briefing on the situation, as well as a basic map showing the layout of the building. Don’t expect exact blueprints of every location...
Retail sales of video games tallied just over $9.9 billion in 2004, according to figures released today by industry research firm the NPD Group. That figure, which includes all portable and console hardware, software, and accessories, represents a decline of less than 1 percent when compared with $10 billion in 2003. While dollar sales were down, overall, unit sales were up 4 percent, said the research group
“Sales remained strong, thanks in large part to the console software, portable game software, and portable game hardware categories, which saw dollar sales percentage increases of 7 percent,...
LONDON (Reuters) – Reality TV, meet virtual reality.
Electronic Arts, the world’s biggest video game publisher, is considering an interactive TV show that would let viewers control the actions of the characters as in its popular game “The Sims.”
“One idea could be that you’re controlling a family, telling them when to go to the kitchen and when to go to the bedroom, and with this mechanism you have gamers all over the world ‘playing the show’,” said Jan Bolz, vice president of marketing and sales for EA Europe.
The proposed show, which might...
