The two ways for an email virus to spread is to use an exploit, or entice the user to click the link/executable. Of course the latter is the easiest, and is the most effective when used in conjunction with a celebrity’s name. Despite the recent Jackson suicide emails, Britney Spears is the one to recently edge out Bill Gates as the top virus celebrity. The top 10 (in descending order): Britney Spears, Bill Gates, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Osama Bin Laden, Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton, Anna Kournikova, Paris Hilton, and Pamela Anderson.

Japan has taken a step into the science-fiction world with the release of a "robot suit" that can help workers lift heavy loads or assist people with disabilities climb stairs.
"Humans may be able to mutate into supermen in the near future," said Yoshiyuki Sankai, professor and engineer at Tsukuba University who led the project.
The 15-kilogram (33-pound) battery-powered suit, code-named HAL-5, detects muscle movements through electrical-signal flows on the skin surface and then amplifies them.
It can also move on its own accord, enabling it to help elderly or handicapped...
Egg Frying Made Easy… without a stove
The first week of college my RA gave me a citation violation, "CV," for trying to cook an egg on my portable open-flame stove.
I thought I’d be smarter and I got a George Foreman grill. I decided to be the ass I am… and eat the egg in front of his face. I got another CV, this time calling it "Unsupported electronic device."

Okay – I’ve posted like three posts about cooling in the last month, but this wasn’t exactly what I expected:
"Forget fancy watercooled CPUs or complicated heat pipes. Annoyed with the noise of the forced-air cooling in his computer, this guy simply dumped his entire motherboard in an aquarium filled with mineral oil. (coral cache). No modifications were necessary; he even left the fans running to keep the oil moving about. The only thing not submersed in oil is the hard disk."
Now I really didn’t think that was possible!
Hope he doesn’t...
Well its nice to see animals can help?
The Mesa Police Department is looking to add some primal instinct to its SWAT team. And to do that, it’s looking to a monkey.
“Everybody laughs about it until they really start thinking about it,” said Mesa Officer Sean Truelove, who builds and operates tactical robots for the suburban Phoenix SWAT team. “It would change the way we do business.”
Truelove is spearheading the department’s request to purchase and train a capuchin monkey, considered the second smartest primate to the chimpanzee. The department is seeking...
An apparently friendly motorist in Germany stopped to tow a broken-down car, stranded the owners as he sped away, crashed their car into a gas station and then drove off, police said Thursday.
“After attaching it, the man sped off so fast that the two hadn’t even got into the car — and were left gesticulating wildly,” said police in Aachen. The man then drove toward the gas station, swerving his own car at the last minute.
“But the trailing vehicle went straight on and smashed into the air pump,” police said. “The station attendant was roused by the...
Deputies were taken aback during a chase involving a suspected burglar. He signaled his upcoming turns, Flathead County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ernie Freebury said Tuesday.
Deputies were going to a residence Monday night to arrest a man on a probation violation and investigate some burglaries, Freebury said. A vehicle raced out of the driveway, nearly knocking down the deputies, and then struck a patrol car parked nearby to intercept him, he said.
Freebury said the chase never exceeded 70 mph, and the driver even signaled his turns.
Oliver Pearson, 28, was arrested and charged with probation...
