I’m Iraqi, I’ve been to Iraq and believe me I know that the situation in Iraq at the current moment is definitely not better then it was before the war. Why, well think about it. You attacked a country and killed over 150,000 Innocent Civilians. Yeah that might look like ‘just a figure’ to you, but lets face it – we seem to care so much about every British/American soldier that dies (which is fine) but when do we think about the innocent Iraqi’s who were killed by our soldiers our countries and our politics. This isn’t just the situations caused by the...

Back from the camp everyone Course I had some 30 emails to get through and there are a few about that President of the USA, what do they call him again? George Bush…the texan bafoon or something. Anyway quite a funny video, have a laff at him here.
You probably all saw the note he wrote in the UN summit.
And if you missed Tibault’s post about Michael Moore’s letter to people voting for him, its definately worth the read.

Michael Moore has written ‘A Letter to All Who Voted for George W. Bush‘:
In which he asks the ‘Republicans, conservative, born-again, capitalists, ditto-heads, right-wingers’ what they think of Bush now; Now that a lot of americans have died in a (imho) useless war, and after the disaster that is Katrina.
Do you believe in Jesus? Really? Didn’t he say that we would be judged by how we treat the least among us? Hurricane Katrina came in and blew off the facade that we were a nation with liberty and justice for all. The wind howled and the water rose and what...
As if the death of 150,000 Iraqi’s wasn’t enough.
08/29/05 "ICH" — – President Bush’s latest milestone in the war on terror has been predictably ignored in the mainstream media. Bush, who is now in the fifth year of his presidency, has served 1727 days in office. With the death toll in Iraq currently at 1873 servicemen, Bush can now boast that at least one American has died for every day he’s been in office; a sobering tribute to a man who wants to be remembered "a war president".

A BBC programme “How to start your own country” presented by Danny Wallace follows a inspired and determined man to…. Well start his own country. You may think well where he is going to start his very own country, surely he needs land, surely he needs money, not to mention the people. Well he has declared he flat as country, and he has declared all of his citizens, ambassadors and the jobs for ambassadors are to declare your flats, houses, gardens, sheds, tents, cars or any space that belongs to you, as an Embassy for this yet unnamed country. But I advise you to still pay your...

I read this over on my cousins blog and I just had to post it:
I was reading the newspaper today when i came across this in the letters section of the Guardian
Justice and Israel I am mystified by the fuss Israel is making over the removal of 2% of it’s illegal settlers from the Occupied Territories. Israel managed to ethnically cleanse half a million Palestinians from their homes during the 1948 war. In recent years, it has destroyed thousands of Palestinian homes. So are we supposed to be so impressed by the "trauma" of removing 8,000 squatters from Gaza, that we no...

"I am utterly against the punishing of innocent people for the crimes of the guilty, whether it is done on the underground of London or the streets of Falluja by George Bush’s air force". George Galloway MP
Lets face it, there aren’t many likeable politicians in the western (and of course everywhere else) governments today, so it feels good to say that I’ve always had respect for George Galloway and his views towards the current situations. I’ve attended seminars and talks with George Galloway as a guest and I’ve always been delighted with his...
