Google extensions for FireFox

Well, I never heard of it, but they’ve been here since July 7, 2005. I found a link to the new Google Toolbar for FF on the main Google page and from there a link to the Google Firefox extensions page. Apparantly Google has already made three extension, being ‘Google Toolbar’, ‘Google send to phone’ and ‘Google Suggest’ of which the latter is my favourite: it auto-completes search terms that you enter in the Firefox Search bar. Once again, Google news: When you go to Google.com today, you will find this logo: It announces a new service of google called Google Moon, you can compare it to Google Maps, with the only difference that this is with imagery of the moon. First Google Maps, now Google Earth

Google has launched Keyhole 3, rebranded Google Earth, and has dumped the subscription rate (except for a $20/year "plus" version with prettier pictures and a commercial $400 "pro" version) available now at earth.google.com. The program lets you fly around a 3D globe, with overhead satellite photos, tilted 45-degree photos, 3D rendered buildings, and overlays that display everything from roads to hotels to bike routes. More Google Satellite Imagery

Google has hugely expanded the areas of the world that it covers with satellite imagery. Egypt, Iraq, mainland Europe and the UK have all now got satellite coverage to a lesser or greater degree Great Great, you can now have a look at Buckingham Palace, The Eiffel tower, St. Peter in Rome, The Giza Pyramids, etc. Really nice pictures of interesting places.
