As most of you know, the Pope John Pall II passed away on Saturday after a long illness, aged 84.
The pontificate of John Paul II was one of the longest in the history of the Catholic Church.
Few popes of any century have had such an impact, either on the Church or the times in which they lived.
He saw himself as the universal pastor, using air travel and the mass media to take his message to the world.
Familiar routine: Pope John Paul II kissing the ground, this time in Lithuania
He became a familiar sight – arriving in another foreign land, kissing the ground, and then preaching at an...

Hey everyone,
As you all probably know, I am Iraqi and I am totally against the illegal war and occupation of Iraq and Palestine. You may have heard about the latest Demonstration against the war in London organised by Stop the War, Muslim Association of Britain and CND. I am pleased to say that this was a very successful demonstration and I feel that contributing to this was a great success for all of the 200,000 demonstrators.
I took a few pictures, and I have just recently implemented a new gallery for Usayd Networks, which is available here.
IF you have any pictures to contribute please do...

Well this was quite an interesting story in the gangsta side of the world
Rapper 50 Cent has ended his public feud with his protege The Game as the pair said they wanted to be good role models for their communities.
The row blew up when 50 Cent threw The Game out of his G-Unit crew and accused him of being disloyal.
A member of The Game’s entourage was reportedly shot outside a radio station where 50 Cent was being interviewed.
But the pair shook hands as they handed over money to music projects for New York’s deprived areas on Wednesday.

Hmm so I opened a letter today and what a surprise, another annoying BT Broadband letter boasting about what they have to offer using the technical terminology as if they were explaining it to a two year old.
Well what do I find?
“Since BT Values your custom, we’re always looking for ways to give you a better broadband service and great value for money…”
Hmm sure you are…
Four times as fast for no extra cost
“With your Bt Broadband package your like will be automatically upgraded from 512kb to our new superfast 2Mb service…”

An apparently friendly motorist in Germany stopped to tow a broken-down car, stranded the owners as he sped away, crashed their car into a gas station and then drove off, police said Thursday.
“After attaching it, the man sped off so fast that the two hadn’t even got into the car — and were left gesticulating wildly,” said police in Aachen. The man then drove toward the gas station, swerving his own car at the last minute.
“But the trailing vehicle went straight on and smashed into the air pump,” police said. “The station attendant was roused by the...
Israeli occupation soldiers have shot and killed a Palestinian boy in downtown Hebron, alleging that he tried to attack soldiers with a sharp object.
However, Palestinian witnesses dispute the claim, testifying that soldiers stationed outside al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron’s Old Quarter murdered 13-year-old Sabri Fayiz Rajub in cold blood.
“The soldiers were shouting at the boy, and then shot him in the leg, however as he fell down and was shivering with pain, another soldier shot him in the chest, finishing him off.
“It was cold-blooded murder,” said Hilmi Jaabari, a witness.

Deputies were taken aback during a chase involving a suspected burglar. He signaled his upcoming turns, Flathead County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ernie Freebury said Tuesday.
Deputies were going to a residence Monday night to arrest a man on a probation violation and investigate some burglaries, Freebury said. A vehicle raced out of the driveway, nearly knocking down the deputies, and then struck a patrol car parked nearby to intercept him, he said.
Freebury said the chase never exceeded 70 mph, and the driver even signaled his turns.
Oliver Pearson, 28, was arrested and charged with probation...
